We'll arrive at around 5:30 or so on Friday night, go to MK on Saturday and leave around 2:00 pm on Sunday. My mom and sister are meeting us Sunday for lunch. It's my mom's b-day, so we bought her a meal voucher (we figure she'll probably share with my sister) and we plan on eating at beaches and cream. We got ourselves 4 vouchers and i'm trying to figure out how to schedule it all.

Friday--dinner--we're thinking of eating before we enter the resort, but I'm thinking we may use 2 vouchers for then to eat at Pepper Market. Our plans for that night are to go to the campfire at FW. Any thoughts? Would it be hard to go from our resort to the Poly to FW?

Saturday--have a character breakfast scheduled. Should we A) schedule this early and go before we hit MK and then leave in the late afternoon for a nap and then dinner at Pepper Market (that is if we don't do it on Friday) or B) schedule the breakfast at 11 or whatever the latest seating is and hit the park early, grabbing granola bars and then leave for the breakfast which will also serve as a lunch, then take a nap and hit the park again and just pick up dinner at the park?

Sunday--we plan on going to DTD and then going to MGM to catch a boat to Beaches adn Cream and then maybe walking along the boardwalk if we have time.

Anyone have any tips or suggestions? It'll be me, DH and 4yo (it's his birthday trip!) Should we use the vouchers Friday or Saturday? Breakfast early or late Saturday? HELP!!! Less than two weeks to go and I can't figure it all out.

I forgot to mention that I plan on using 2 vouchers for dinner and I'll share with DS and for lunch using 1 (I'll share with DH) and then buying DS a kids meal.

So if we use 2 for dinner Sat. night (or Friday night) we'll have an extra one for lunch in the park at MK.

I have to tell you from experience that getting to the campfire at FW sounds easier than it is!!!!!!! We tried to do that one year and after 45 minutes, we gave up! We were coming from Coronado Springs which is a lot further than the Poly. but if you are relying on the buses--skip it.

Years ago I thought that you could take a boat from poly to FW, then you just had to walk or take a tram to the other side of FW.

Find out how you can get from the Poly to FW. If it is by boat, it was not a problem, if you have to take a bus it is a big problem!

I personally would go for your plan B on Saturday. Wake up early, do granola bars, enjoy the park, eat at the character "brunch" (I think it would be a 10:30 seating as the latest one considered for breakfast.....call NOW for a priority seating!) Touring early in the a.m. and in the evening is the best time to do the parks.

Make sure to ask for the "today is my birthday" pin as you enter the park. Tell your waitress that it is your son's b-day too!
Enjoy your celebration!

Thanks for the transportation tips. I think the pepper market is actually in coronado spings, not the poly. Sorry. So if we do decide to do that, we should plan on leaving early, huh? I like the idea of brunch and a nap and back to the parks. I feel like we'll have more time there.

So if we decide to have the brunch and eat an early supper in the park, where should we eat? should we use vouchers or just pay for it? We would have 3 vouchers. Maybe we should use 1 voucher Sat. in the park for dinner and 2 Friday night. So where should we eat Friday night with them that would be easy to get to FW from? Am I asking too many questions? I'm confusing myself, that's why I'm begging for your help. What would you do?

Oh, and one more thing, where is the best place to use vouchers in the MK?

I'm really wanting to eat at Pepper Market, where would you fit that in?

Good places to use vouchers in MK are Cosmic Rays, Pecos Bills, Plaza Restaurant (which may even take PS), and Columbia Harbor House. DH and I usually split a voucher.

I couldn't tell from your post if you knew you needed breakfast vouchers for the breakfast meals. Otherwise, one of the few places you maybe could get breakfast would be Pepper Market, but I don't remember if they did breakfast! I think the Pepper Market is best used at an evening meal. Their portions are huge!

Use a car to get to Poly or MK parking lot and take boat to Ft Wilderness. Or drive to FW and take internal bus to Meadows complex for movie.

I think the easiest way to get to FW from CS, would be take a bus to MK, then take the boat to FW. Feel free to correct me it this is wrong!
