Help with ice cream maker?

We just bought an automatic ice cream maker. It makes upto 1.5 quarts of ice cream. It only came with a few recipes though. We want to find more...does anyone know where to find more recipes of this type? I can not find them. Any help PLEASE.....

Or if you do a search, type in "homemade ice cream recipes" and you'll find a lot of recipes.

You may have to adjust the amounts of ingredients, just compare to the recipes that come with your ice cream maker.
We love homemade ice cream and there are several good cookbooks for ice cream recipes.

Dole Whip recipe

Supposedly this was a runner-up recipe for an Emeril Live Chocolate contest? Whatever- it is a great chocolate ice cream!

2 cups of chocolate milk (I've used both regular and 2%;couldn't tell difference) a great brand is Midnight Chocolate by Promised Land Dairy
2 cups of heavy whipping cream
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
2 cans of evaporated milk
1 can of chocolate syrup (1 1/2 cups)

Mix well and refrigerate several hours or overnight. Process as usual in your ice cream machine- this makes 2 batches with my machine. Makes 8-10 normal servings.

The Dole Whip recipe was really good! I found out that I can half the recipe for my small ice cream maker. It was a nice flashback to Adventureland.

We make this recipe all the time. 3 quarts half and half, 3 cups sugar, 3 tbl spoons vanilla or to taste. wave2:

I finally made the dole whip recipe (well, me and ds) and it was great. I had to half the recipe for my ice cream maker though.
