I am gutted i received my eurostar tickets today s go on 6th may, jurney out is not too bad as we have two sets of two seats opposite each other, but journey back we have four seperate seats and it is me and my husband and our 4 and 2 year old daughters. i know everybody cant be pleased with seating but really want to try and complain and get the seats changed as unless we could swap with people we we be stuck and we just couldn't do it, we would end up with the kids on our laps we paid extra for our 2 year old to have a seat.

should i ring eurostar, or disney, i dont know if anyone has been in this situation before.

thanks

If you scroll back over past posts you'll see a lot of people have been in this situation before, and eurostar have not been good about sorting it out. I'd certainly ring and complain though, since a 4 and 2 yr old can't possibly be expected to sit on their own.

This seems to be happening alot ,people are having lots of trouble sorting it out ,I would just keep at them until they do something think its more of a euro star problem than a disney one

I understand your problem. The system itself is not family friendly so it will just fill up the coach rather than allocate sits in some useful order. I would advise two options as this happens very frequently.

1. Call the Eurostar contact centre and give them the PNR codes located on the bottom right hand side of the tickets (This is your unique reservation code) Ask that the seats be reallocated to another carriage where there are normally more seats.. (Coaches 5 and 14 are normally the last to fill up)

2. If you are local enough, the Travel Centre at St Pancras will do that for you on their reception desk....

The key rule is that as long as there are some seats available together on the train, then the process works. I would advise you to hurry though as availability becomes more limited and that is when it gets more complicated.

The worst case scenario would mean you asking the train manager for assistance in putting you all together.

Hope that helps.

Just thought I would let you know that my seats with 3 young children were OK but not ideal, I have just phoned eurostar who were extemely helpful and have moved us to a family area, I was on the phone for probably 2 mins, very easy. So it is worth trying.

because we booked through disney website i have spoken to them and they were no help basiclly said no way of moving, the only thing they did that was good was give us a free tea party at plaza gardens. also spoke to eurostar and because the disney allocation of the train is full there is nothing they can do they wont move us to free seats as this is the eurostar allocation, so got no where basiclly after speaking to lots of people at disney and lots of people at eurostar.

Sorry you've had no success ~ you may even find on the day that people will be willing to swop seats with you. :)
