Help with DVC reservations, please.

We're new DVC members and we're hoping to take a last minute trip to WDW using our points. Only problem is that the membership office is closed until Monday morning (it's Friday evening). Is there any way to make a reservation over the weekend? We don't want to go this weekend, just make a reservation. TIA
 
I could be wrong...... but I thought I read where someone called the front desl of the hotel itself and was able to book a room over a weekend.......

We're hoping to go December 7-10. It's very spur of the moment. I just filled out a reservation request form on the DVC homepage, but maybe I should call the resort, too.
 
Dec 7th-10th may be a tough ticket to get....... slow WDW time, very popular DVC time...... but if your open as to where you stay and the size of the accomdations.... you may luck out.

Keep us posted..... and here is some extra Pixie Dust for ya......
 

Good Luck. That is a very busy week. You might get lucky though and get OKW. I do think thought you might have to wait til next week....

The resort could probably help with a reservation using points for this weekend, but they usually don't have access to the full DVC reservation system until just a few days prior to any date.

I know the resort can help with cash reservations, but doubt you'll have much luck for a date beyond this Sunday with a point ressie.

While the resort might be able to assist you, it would certainly defeat the purpose of having MS closed for periods of time (like Holidays and weekends) and if a resort does start accepting future point reservations when MS is closed it will add a whole new dimension to DVC reservations.

Please let us know if they can assist you, but don't be surprised if you just have to wait until Monday, just as is suggested in our membership guide.

Thanks for your help everyone. :) I filled out the reservation request form and they should contact me in 1-3 days, so we'll see if it was meant to happen.
 
You're right... there were no rooms available (and I tried 4 different sets of dates), but we're going anyway. We considered trying to use our points to get a moderate room, but we decided to save them, instead. I got a cash reservation this time. But we're still going home for the first time in March. :)
 
Hi Sorry about that but if I was you I would not give up hope try tomorrow. you never know who might not be able to go... Good luck and see you there.
