Help with Disney Groom's cake

Hey guys, I was hoping that some of you creative people out there could help me with some ideas for a groom's cake for my DF. We are getting married here in Virginia, but of course honeymooning in Disney! We are having a Disney themed rehearsal dinner, and I would like a Disney groom's cake to surprise him. Originally I wanted to do a Tower of Terror pseudo-replica cake (it's his fav ride on the planet), but that might not work out, due to a combination of budget and cake logistics. Soooo, What do you guys think about a monorail cake? Yes, he (ok, we) loves the monorail! He likes "classic Disney" stuff- think Haunted Mansion, One Man's Dream, Carousel of Progress, type of things. Any other suggestions?

I love the idea of a monorail cake! I saw you are from Richmond. I know Desserteria (sp) in Midlothian (on Hull) does some unique cakes like that.

I have also been looking through the official cake thread, because I remember seeing someone asking about a monorail and was going to give you an example. Unfortunately it looks like the picture hasn't been posted yet or they may have changed their minds.

Since you're probably going to have one cake already, why not see if they can do a chocolate fountain as the "groom's cake." Variety is nice!

Thank everyone,a dn I'm glad that others think it is a good idea- it's always nice to get confirmation on things Well, I just got off the phone with my cake lady, and we are all set for the monorail cake at the rehearsal dinner! I went with a red stripe, because I don't think he has a specific monorail color favorite , just the monorail in general. I can't wait to see it in a few months, and I will definitely post pictures for you all to see.

Oh, and thanks for the suggestion about the chocolate fountain, they are delicious . I decided on the cake though, since the rehearsal dinner is going to be Disney themed.
