We are going either September 25th to the 29th or October 2nd to the 6th. Doing Oogie Boogie the first day followed by three days parkhopping. Staying at Disneyland Hotel. Pricing is slightly cheaper for flights the second weekend but cheaper for the hotel by about the same for the second weekend.

Is there any advantage to one weekend or the other or do I just flip a coin? I'm not sure why this is such a struggle for me. I do with there was a sale on hotels but looking back I think I might be in that weird period where there's no discounts.

I think the October dates will be better for you. I looked up single day ticket prices, which partially drives crowd levels (higher usually meaning lower crowds) and here's what I found. Sept 25-29 - 142, 180, 196, 180, 142. Oct 2-6 - 126, 164, 206, 196, 196.

Also, the September weekend does not have the Believe Key blocked at all, but it is blocked on both Oct 4th and 5th. Enchant is blocked only on Sept 27th, but blocked both Oct 4th and 5th.

I'm sure it will still be crowded, but I think there could be some good crowd days on Oct 2-6. They started blocking passes more often in Oct compared to a few years ago when some of the crowds were insane. The next weekend in Oct will likely be worse with it being a holiday (not the weekend you're looking at).

Since both the flights and the hotel are cheaper the second weekend, wouldn't that be the better weekend for you? Or did you mistype and one of those items is cheaper the first weekend?
