Help with Counter Service Ordering

I knew that most counter service places were using mobile order only, but I hadn't realized that your return time could be booked hours later. Are the reservations really filling up in the morning? I usually eat at "off-times" anyway, but I don't usually plan out counter service meals, etc. Do you ahve to be in-park to start your order, or can you do it beforehand? Also, what about picking up a quick snack? This seems very cumbersome - any tips are appreciated. Thanks!

When we were there it was not difficult and didn't take too long. Only one time did it say it would be 2 hours later but that was before we realized you can just tap "I'm here now" and it starts your order. Once you order your food just then tap that you are there so they will start preparing it. No need to physically actually be right there. We would start the order then walk over and usually would only wait a few minutes.

Okay, great tip - thanks! This was causing me a little stress today. I am sure wait times will still be high at the prime eating times, but I avoid those anyway.
