Just looking for people's opinions on what building choice would be good for us. We are a group of 9 with the youngest being 2 and the oldest a grandma. So convenience to the monorail would be important. I also can't decide if its more important to be closest to the TTC for ease to go to parks other than MK, or to be close to the GCH. Where is the pools in relation to these two locations? Thanks for any help you can provide. :)

I think Tahiti is the best longhouse for your situation. First, it is closest to the TTC. Although it is farthest from GCH and pretty far away from the pools, you are really talking 5 minutes. You are pretty close to the buses, and you can always catch the MK monorail at the TTC so you don't have to go the GCH to catch the resort monorail. Also, at the TTC you can catch the ferry to MK as well as the Epcot monorail.

Moreover, since Tahiti is farthest away from GCH, the luau, and the pools, it is also quiet. It has its own beach where you can watch the fireworks and has some beautiful MK view rooms.

I have to agree. We have little ones and we were in Tahiti as well. It was a quiet area for naps. It was really convenient to the TTC and had wonderful views of the Magic Kingdom.

I would just make sure that you were not facing the monorail if your in another building.

Its a really nice resort, so I'm sure you'll have a good time!

That's something else to consider. When my family and I were walking to and from the TTC, we could not believe just how far away it is from the Great Ceremonial House.

If you are going to be spending time at the pool then my suggestion is Samoa, also Samoa is close to the GCH.

My personal preference is Tokelau, close to the pool, GCH, and not far of a walk to the TTC.

Tokelau is in the middle of things. We found it to be great for everything with three kids, 10,7, and 5. Loooooved the location.

Taking my parents back next year I am considering requesting Somoa because it is so close to the pool and GCH.

For a MK view, go with Tahiti, but for a GV I like to be near the GCH to feel apart of the festivities so Somoa or Tokelau would be for me; eating and shopping is fun!

Good luck! That is part of the fun in planning.

Thanks guys for all the info. I think I am leaning toward Tokelau, since it is so centrally located. I just can't wait to be there now!!! 6 more weeks!!!:)

Rapa Nui is also pretty close the TTC. It also has it's own parking lot if you have a car.
