Help with Breakfast Buffet

I want to do a breakfast buffet and need help finding one. Which one has the best food and includes Mickey Waffles and chocolate chip muffins. I saw a picture of the cc muffins on the food porn site and want one!! Excluding Chef Mickey as it is not available but I am still trying every day and excluding Cape May because we didn't like that one when we tried it. Thanks for your help and advice. Oh, and it doesn't have to be a character meal as my youngest is 17. We would prefer outside the park as well as inside the park ideas. Debby

Crystal Palace is a nice one, and they always have the Mickey Waffles and is also in the Magic Kingdom . . . the charachters here are Pooh and friends.

We also really LOVE Tusker House at Animal Kingdom, and here you will (usually) find both Donald and Daisy who are hard to find . . . mickey and goofy also attend and the food is yummy. Though I did not eat them, so do not recall seeing them, my son says that they did indeed have the Mickey Waffles here. They had a huge muffin bar including the chocolate chip - all sorts of doughnuts and pastries as well, if that's your thing. They also serve "Jungle Juice" which is a citrus/exotic fruit blend very yummy, but also very sweet.

As our kids are totally into the charachters, we have not ventured much beyond in-park and charachter dining, so I can't suggest much else. The Crystal Palace is a bit quieter which may be better for a family not into the charachter experience, as at Tusker House, much like at Chef Mickey's, there is a big dance where Mickey does a conga line with all the guest who choose to participate. . .

Trails End Restaurant at Fort Wilderness. It is easy to park in the front of the resort where the general parking is then take a bus (which is the only way to the restaurant by car) back to the restaurant, and on the way you get to see the campground park of the resort. Or you can take a boat from the Magic Kingdom, Contemporary or Wilderness Lodge.

And the buffet is cheaper than those in the parks, there are no characters at this and the mickey waffles are left out for you to help yourself.

We always go to Ohana's for breakfast during our Disney stay. They have Mickey waffles. The characters are Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto. It's pretty easy to get a ressies also.

Yes Trail's End has a couple different kinds of muffins along with eggs, grits, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, potatos, donuts, fruit, french toast, toast/bagels and I am sure that I am missing something too. But it is a really good deal for your money. Very laid back and quiet.

Ohana is expensive, but was very good and has characters Lilo, Stitch, Pluto and Mickey. Lot's of kids, not a quiet place at all.
