Hi,

I do not know if one is going to be a good indicator for the other. It really depends on if the travel industry continues to be strong or not. Here is my example. This past Jan (05) we paid around $170 a night inc tax for a savanna view room with an AP discount.

Right now for Jan 06 the same room with the BRP discount (this is the new AP discount) is about $239 a night inc tax.

Hi Jerry!

I didn't book for Nov or Dec of 05, but I was booked at WL for Jan 06. My rate was $135 + tax. The value season Best Rate discount was $70 off of deluxes.

The 2005 discounts were in the same ballpark as the 2006.....

Nobody knows where the BR discounts are going after they end in February, but IF the discounts remail the same, then look at the rack rates for when you're going & deduct $70, then add tax.
