I can't believe I need a strategy for restaurant reservations, but here we go.:)

I'm checking into the Poly. on April 20, so my 180 day out mark is Oct. 23. I'm concerned about my ability to get three specific ones - CRT, Le Cellier, and Hoop Dee Doo. I want the 5pm Hoop Dee Doo on the 20th, Le Cellier for dinner on Mon. the 21st and CRT for lunch the 23. From what I've read in the UG, I need an atomic clock, a trial run, etc. to get the CRT. My concern is that I will try all that, it won't work and then when I move on to Le Cellier and Hoop Dee Doo, they will be gone as well. Is this possible, or am I just neurotic?

Okay, I wouldn't stress so much over it. You know that you have to call 180 days out and so that is a good start. First of all, I would make the ADR for Le Cellier first as soon as the reservations open on the 23rd.

Next, I would do CRT. I think Breakfast is the hardest to get. I went for dinner and was able to get reservations 2 months before. I don't think its too hard to get lunch.

Finally, you should do HDDR as the other 2 are harder to get than this.

Don't panic. Even if they are all booked up which I don't think they will be, you can always keep calling because more than likely, someone will cancel by then and a table will be available.

I wouldnt worry about the Hoop Dee Do revue we were able to get tickets to it about 3 weeks before we arrived on site..I wish it was sold out because I thought it was terrible.

Don't worry, if you're calling at 7 AM Eastern 180 days out, I think you'll do OK, especially since you're not calling for the busiest time of year. Even if you call at 7 AM, be prepared to be put on hold for a few minutes. DON'T PANIC!! Just stay on hold. It happened to me, and I still got CRT for breakfast at exactly the time I wanted.

I have to LOL at this. We are going April 16th and my day to call is the 19th and I have been having anxiety attacks all week. I was told to just yell out what I want and not to let the person taking the reservations even say hello..LOL. We want CRT and Le Cellier too :)

I called in Sept for a January trip and got all the dates and times for our ressis.. CRT, Le Cellier and 8 more. The key is to just call as much in advance as possible. Good Luck
