Help with a gift

Looking to get nephew in law pair of glove. He rides a motorcycle, what type of glove would be best to work as regular gloves but also be able to be used on bike if need be. Any riders who can weigh in.

I know it might be a pain to go into stores versus just shopping online but I'd just go into the dealer that sells his brand of bike and check out their selection. DH has a Harley and Harley dealerships have all the various gear, so I'm assuming other manufacturers do as well.
