My Dfi and I are going to the world in September. I really want to do something special for him, or get him something (to represent our 5 years together). We've been through a lot, and I really want to do something he'll love and remember forever.

Last year for our anniversary, we did the Segway tour at Epcot and the dine with imagineer. HE LOVED both of those suprises. I'm trying to do something else along those lines, or a keepsake. I know disney florist has stuff to send to rooms- but most is for the ladies.

Thanks for any help! :-)

As far as keepsakes go, Leave a Legacy at Epcot.

Surprise him at the airport and have a limo waiting to take you to the hotel.

Dinner at California Grill then watch Wishes from the observation deck. I will never, ever forget how MAGICAL that whole experience was from me. There's just something special about eating a nice dinner overlooking the MK and deluxe hotels - top that off with Wishes from that angle - it was absolutely AMAZING!

I also will never forget some of the tours we have done. Particulary, Keys to the Kingdom and Backstage Safari.

Oh, and a carriage ride around Fort Wilderness just before it gets dark.

If I think of anything else, I will let you know.

I agree with the carriage ride at Fort Wilderness. I have never done it myself but my siter and her husband did and they loved it.

Unfortunately I have never got to do the romantic Disney stuff(my husband wanted nothing to do with Disney...I guess that is why I am single Mommy now) I can think of so many things that I would want to do if I was you.

In terms of keepsakes we got something quite unique last year for our anniversary.

You'll see the character sketches for sale at many of the shops like Art of Disney and often they'll have one of the artists there doing them. Well we're both NBC fans and at MGM we found a Jack & Zero sketch at the Villains Store and at the shop across the street the artist who did it was working on another character sketch. We bought it along with a frame then took it over to him and he was more than happy to take time to personalize it for us:

Thank you all for your replies... I was losing hope there for a minute!

We have already left a leave a legacy, done tours, and we are planning on eating at the california grill during wishes this year.

I realllllllly love the artwork idea, sadly- that's more MY thing than his, lol... I'm the creative brain in the relationship. I might still do that though, he would appreciate the gesture.

Thanks again
