Help with 1 day touring plan????

My family and I are huge fans of Walt Disney World and we have visited many many times. My daughter and I are also HUGE Harry Potter fans. For our trip in June we will be flying to Orlando, checking in to Cabana Bay for one night and going to Universal the next day with a park to park ticket. We want to do everything Harry Potter and maybe Minion Mayhem. Ideally we would need to leave the Universal area by 6:30 pm to head to the airport to pick up our son. We will then check in to CBR and the rest of our trip will be at WDW. We have never been to Universal...... If someone who loves planning like I do and has a lot of experience with universal and a little extra time can help me with touring plans....I would really appreciate it. We know we will be getting up early and packing the car and getting in line to get into the park an hour early. Thanks in advance for your help!
