I currently have 2 ADRs for dinner at BOG on the same day. One is at 4:00 and the other is 5:55. I need to pick which one I want and cancel the other so somebody else can grab it. But I can't decide which one to cancel.

Here's a breakdown of this MK day (we have 1 1/2 other days planned at MK to hit other attractions)

We will arrive at Rope rope
BTMRR
BTMRR
Dumbo
Mad Tea Cups
Peter Pan (use FP+)
Pirates League
Pirates (use FP+)

Then we'll take break for lunch. I'm thinking about going over to CR and eating lunch at the quick service there. And then taking the boat over to Ft. Wilderness, DD wants to see the horses. And then take the boat back to MK. How long should I allow for this break? We can take a 3 hour break and have dinner at 4:00 or take a 4 hour break and have dinner at 5:55.

People Mover
BOG at 4:00
7DMT (use FP+)
Walt Disney Railroad-ride from Fantasyland to Main Street

Should be leaving the park around 6:00

or

People Mover
Walt Disney Train - ride from Main Street to Fantasyland
7DMT (useFP+)
BOG 5:55

Will leave after eating, around 7:00

Which BOG ADR should I cancel?

I have no experience to predict whether or not the earlier time is feasible ...but I would think keeping the later reservation means less worry and more flexibility to handle the day no matter how it goes.

I agree with this. You don't mention what time RD is on this day or when your Pirate's League reservation is, so it's a little hard to gauge time, but I wouldn't want to eat lunch and then have such an early dinner. 5:55 pm gives you plenty of time to get lunch, see the horses, allow for transportation, etc. Also, to save some travel steps, why not eat at Ft. W?

How many people are in your ADR and what? Please PM me if you’d prefer not to post that info.

I am trying to get an ADR at BOG for 10 any evening 5/16 thru 5/22 or for 6 between 5/23 and 5/25.

Rope Drop is at 9:00
PP FP+ is for 10:25-11:25
Pirates League is at 11:10
Pirates FP+ is for 12:05-1:05
BOG at 4:00 or 5:55
7DMT FP+ is for 5:00-6:00

My fear is if I keep the 5:55 time, we'll be done and ready to leave before dinner if it's crowed and really hot. We'll be there on May 30, which is a Wednesday and MK has evening EMH. I'm not 100% positive we'll even leave for a lunch break. We may decide to stay and have lunch inside MK and maybe do some stuff that's not planned.

Eating at Ft. Wilderness is an option, but I believe we'd be eating outside and I thought we might enjoy some air conditioning to cool off in.

Thanks for responding, Mastermind. Cute username you have. :)

BTW, I left out the word “date” after what. Duh!

I recently had a 4:10pm BOG dinner. I loved it! We ate a big breakfast at the resort and then some smaller snacks during the day.
By eating early it gave us a break from the scorching sun (I'm Canadian so for me, mid march felt HOT!), super fast to be seated and served (because we were right at the start of the dinner service), no wait for the Beast and done with dinner/back to rides as many were heading to eat.
I'd recommend it! :)

Thank you for sharing your experience. Do you remember what time you were able to meet the beast?

I think we had finished eating (group of 11, 5 kids), appies and desert included, and met the beast by 5:30. And we didn't feel rushed in the slightest.

Yes, this was our experience with a 4.10 booking. It was lovely to walk into the restaurant near empty and be able to really drink in all of the
surroundings without many others there. This was in 2015 and we enjoyed so much that we are doing it again this July. This time I have a 4pm ADR and we will go after watching the parade. Very excited as we have two people in our party this time who have never been to BOG - one has never been to WDW at all and is a huge fan of Belle :) We also had a fabulous meal and service last time we went. I know the food gets mixed reviews but I can only speak for the meal we had. So pleased we got an ADR before it all changes.

To the OP, I'd keep the 4:00. We are looking forward to our 4:25 reservation for the reasons mentioned above. We plan to watch the parade, then catch a FP if time and head to the restaurant. It will still be relatively early when finished if some want to stay at the park for more fun after dinner.

If you are leaving the park to do stuff at another resort, i would do the later ADR and cancel the earlier. You might be able to be back in time for the earlier ADR, but I think thats going to add extra stress to make it. Having the later ADR, makes it much easier to get back in time with less stress.

I'm leaning towards keeping the 4:00 time. Since I'm not 100% sure if we'll leave the park or not I'd rather be done early. We can always choose to stay after eating and do more stuff, but if we're tired we can leave without penalty. I also like the fact that we won't have to wait long for a table and hopefully the wait to meet the Beast will be short. I'll probably decide for sure within the new few days so I can cancel one and somebody else can grab it.
