Help! which dates should we choose?

I can't believe I am already doing this....we just got back Friday from our Dis trip We want to take a long week-end trip in November and I am a Nov. rookie so I need some advice. The two dates to choose from are 11/13-16 or 11/20-23. I talked to cro today and they are both available for my fl res. rate. We want to stay away from both holidays, veteran's day and Thanksgiving of course. One strange thing though 11/6-9 there were zero availablity and I don't mean just for fl res. rates either. The only thing I can think is that maybe people are coming in then and staying through 11/11 vet. day so that is why that week-end is out.....Of the two options above which in your opinion would be best? tia!

I would take the 20-23 to make sure that you are not there for any part of Jersey Week. We are going this year Nov. 15-22. Have fun. Oh by the way we are already booked next year on the Disney Magic Nov. 6th cruise (i think that is the date)!!!!

Nov. 8 and 9th is the Super Soap Weekend. That also may be the same time as Jersey Week.

If you're at all interested in catching the Food & Wine Festival, I'd pick the 13th-16th.

Isn't it funny how quickly the need for another trip sneaks up on you?!

I would pick Nov 13-16 basically because it's the last weekend of the Food & Wine Festival. We'll be there then!

I'm gonna show some disney ignorance here but........what the heck is "jersey week"??

P'colaFla Jersey week is the first week of November this year. That is the week that, I believe, New Jersey teachers have a statewide conference and there is no school on Thur and Fri. A lot of Jerseyites (?) take their kids out of school for the whole week and a lot of them head to WDW. This year some of them are even staying through to Veteran's Day.
