My DH and I are BIG coffee drinkers - and not just in the am - and that Nescafe stuff won't cut it...can we stop in at Kona and get a decent cup to take out without actually eating there[ I am ASSUMING they serve Kona coffee????]? And where else along the way[monorail]? And at each park?????HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only decent coffee we had in May was at Kona Cafe. We did have breakfast and loved the pressed pot coffee. I think they do have a coffee stand near the entrance and think it's only from 6 to 11:00 a.m. Hopefully, someone can answer that question exactly for you.

In the morning, you can get a cup to go outside Kona. Swan or Dolphin (can't remember which) have a Starbucks of sorts. Boma has good coffee, I'm told, but that's about it. Some of the countries at Epcot have specialty hot drinks, too.

WDW coffee is seriously lacking. I just bring my own and brew it in the room, pack a travel mug and you're set =)

WDW=Bad Coffee! :earseek: (typically, I know there are a few exceptions) Anyway, we bring our own along and brew in our room/villa in the mornings. If coffee is really important to you (I just can't get my day going without it! ;) ) I would definitely bring my own.

From what I have read the coffee at WDW is pretty bad and the good stuff is far and few between. So... I think its time to start having coffee based touring plans. Something along the lines of:

Start day with Kona Coffee. Ride Peter Pan, Dumbo. Go to neareast coffee shop, get FP for Space mountain. Consume double espresso... :)

There is a very good coffee bar in the lobby of CR and it's open all day. They have all kinds of hot and cold coffee drinks plus a few desserts.

Before we went on our first trip last November, I searched and found a thread like this one. See I consider myself a coffee freak and was worried about the quality, since I remember Disneyland's coffee being just horrible. But then we went, and bought our mugs at the Pop Century! And I really liked their coffee!

Didn't expect to, and now I'm thinking I'm not such a connoisseur after all! But yummy it was, yes sirree :flower: !

I add cream and sugar to mine and it wasn't too bad...sometimes added a shot of hot chocolate and that was good...like a mocha. It is always so hot that it is hard to drink a steaming mug of coffee!!! Much easier to go with diet soda for me for the caffine!

Hate to disappoint you but they don't serve coffee in WDW, at least it doesn't taste like coffee, must be a Nescafe thing...... :rolleyes1

May I add to my post that when I was at the resort, I always added a few spoonfuls of hazelnut creamer and that of course descises the taste. I love that stuff, when I'm on vacation. Here at home we can't get it and I drink my coffee with skim milk, no suger and that's perfect.
I read here on the Dis on another thread that you can also get suprisingly good coffee at Staring Rolls in MGM :flower: .

If you're staying at a Moderate or Delux, you'll have a coffee maker in your room. We took our own ground Starbucks and 4 cup coffee filters. Since we had purchased the reusable mugs, DH would make his coffee and then take it to the Food Court, where he would add creamer from the Food Court. (Same as if he had poured the food court's coffee into his reusable mug.)

Fresh at the Dolphin serves Starbucks (not that I think Starbucks is particularly "good" coffee). We also had decent coffee from the Boardwalk bakery, I don't think they serve Nescafe.
