Help! When to go Oct. 1st or Oct 2nd???

Okay....so I need some help in deciding when to go...either Wednesday, Oct 1st or Thursday, Oct 2nd. LA schools are out Tuesday, Sept 30th and Gay Days start the following weekend. Do you think either of these will affect the crowds on the 1st or 2nd?!?!?!

I am curious as to which day you think will be least crowded. Just driving down for one day and not staying overnight. What day would you go if it were up to you and why???

Tuesdsay, Wednesdays and Thursdays tend to be the least crowded. I think you are probably safe with either one.

My husband gave me a trip to Disneyland for my birthday this weekend. So we are going Oct. 4th thru 7th... we found a super great rate at the Holiday Inn on Walnut....$78.67! { We stayed there on our feb. trip} They have a shuttle to the park and are only a block away. Our room was nice and clean.

I hope your trip is wonderful and that you make happy memories!

The only bad thing about this time frame is..the 5th is Miley's birthday party..so the park shuts down at 5... we are going to explore DCA and ride the rides there that night.

I would go Wednesday. We take many day trips and Wednesdays have no MM, so they are the least crowded in the morning, which is when you can get the most done.

I have never been around Gay Days, so I am not sure how this will affect you travel time.
