Help... I am driving my Hubby crazy! :crazy2: I am so confused and I think you guys may understand. My family had planned on a quick trip down to Florida to do the EE ride at the end of the month. (we had not made any concrete plans) My BL works for the airline and we can fly down on standby for free and the kids have exams that week and have a three day weekend. Well, My youngest ended up having a hockey tournament that weekend so now we are going to that. (Not a championship but just for fun) I have a daughter who is disappointed but of course willing to go the tournament (there are no girls her age and there is no room for a friend.). I feel like she is always being dragged to hockey (I have another son in hockey too). My youngest son says it would be fine to go with out him... Infact I gave him a choice and he said he wanted to play hockey and we can go to Disney. Anyway.. my question is.... Should I go to the hockey thing or take the other two to EE for the weekend. I called and there is very limited availability at DVC for that weekend. I feel like I am disappointing someone either way. Help ... What would you do? :scratchin Thanks !

As long as you are giving you son a choice, and he doesn't seem too upset about it, then I'd go to Disney!

Since your DS is fine with it then I think you should go, it'll be nice to have some girl time with your DD. Must be real nice to get to fly for free, will you adopt me? ;)

Is there any possibility of going another weekend when all the kids are available? If not, it sounds like you do a lot with your sons for their hockey events so I don't think it is terrible to miss one weekend. You're in a position where you can't please everyone, so you just have to try to make the best decision. Good luck!

Thanks you guys. I knew I could count on you!
We can go another weekend but this weekend is a special event for DVC and AP holders to preview the new Everest ride. They just so happend to have a long weekend and it was perfect. Also we can only take advantage of the free tickets at slow times and non holidays.

P.S. Ziva I an filling out the adoption papers as we speak! :teeth:

A factor to consider is that EE is still in the "soft opening" phase & may close at the drop of a pin, even on the preview weekend. We were going to go ourselves, but decided not to for that reason.

You MAY end up making a trip just to see how warm it is in January.
