Help-What is best transport from Port Canaveral to WDW

I have priced out a few different options to go from Port Canaveral to Walt Disney World. I think they all seem really high. For some reason, on our cruise, the Disney Cruise bus is not offered from port to resort. What do you all recommend? There are 2 adults 2 children and 4 suitcases

rental car is the cheapest way. You can get a car from Budget they have a rental office not far from the ship. They have free shuttle vans to take folks to the ship. The shuttle van will be there to pick you up after the cruise and take you back to their office to pick up a car.

This is what we did and the cost with gas was $40 each way

And when was this? We did a one way rental from Orlando to Port Canaveral and back last August. The cost was about $100 each way for a car that would hold 5, and that was using a code. Its still the cheapest option, but its not $40.

Oh and that was using Budget.

Sept Who did you rent with. We used a Visa discount code and a Costco discount code.

And we booked it the Tues before our trip. Tues is the day of the week that rental car companies release their last minute rental rates.

When I booked the cruise there is no option for transfer to resorts. Only back to the airport. During online check-in for pre-post cruise information, Disney transfers is greyed out and not an option unless I'm going back to the airport. It's a 4 night cruise if that makes a difference

Happy Limo service seems pretty reasonably.if anyone else is wondering about this same issue, hope this helps! Rental cars are way too expensive, we did one on our February trip and to fit us plus all our luggage we needed an SUV so it is not really economical at all.

I'm 99 and 44/100% sure that DCL will be running buses to both MCO AND all the WDW Resorts. You can try to call DCL directly (800) 951-3532 or simply book when onboard at Guest Services.

If for some weird reason that you are correct and no shuttles except to MCO, take that and transfer to Magical Express.

In any case, $35/pp for Motorcoach Transportation, one way.

I wasn't able to book the bus online. I had to call. During the checkin process it was greyed out until I called and got the transfers booked and paid for.

The bus is expensive for a family of 4. But if you WANT the bus, call.

(our first DCL cruise was 3 nights, second cruise was 4, and we had the bus both times)
