what are those plastic cases called that you use for swimming to keep your valuables dry?? :confused3 We are leaving for the Wisconsin Dells for Memorial Day and I was looking on ebay for them and can't find them! :earseek: Any ideas where you can purchase them cheaply? thanks! :flower:

Hello!

Are these what you are looking for?

http://www.witzprod.com/witzprod/product.cfm (scroll down the page....there are several types on the page...)

We used the cases constantly during our recent cruise: for snorkeling, water sports, climbing the waterfalls :earseek:. We had a hard time finding these and finally ended up purchasing at a local dive store ( I found this website AFTER the cruise....figures! )

Hope this helps,
Sammy

That may not be what they have in mind
something called a "drybox"?
I picked up someat a Womens health seminar I attended. Also bought 1 on Castaway Cay.
They are a hard plastic box with a rubber stopper around the opening so watches, money, keys, etc keep dry

Dry boxes. I'm a camper and know about dry boxes - they're great.
 :umbrella: :sunny:

KATIESMOMMY-

Actually, you can purchase 2 or 3 different sizes of those "dry boxes" at most gift shops at the Dells themselves and they are not that expensive...depending on how many you need. I have also seen them in Oriental Trading for very cheap, but they are in large quantities and shipping is expensive unless you are buying other things.

Where are you staying at the Dells? We are heading down on June 15th for 3 nights at the Wilderness Lodge...Love the Dells!

We are staying at Hojo Antigua Bay-- I got it thru a timeshare presentation for over Memorial weekend and it cost us $69. We did it a couple of years ago and it is definately worth it! I love the Dells--been going since I was a kid, this will be our DD first trip!

I found them at Meijers (I think you have those in IN) in their swim toys/pool area. They were less than $5 each, various colors. These ones are NOT the flat clear plastic that only hold thin things. These ones can hold thicker things. Probably big enough to hold a deck of cards (not that you'd be carrying around a deck of cards ;o) but that should give you an idea of their size). HTH!

If you have an REI nearby, they sell them there or you can get them from REI's website.

We have stayed there before too when our son was younger...he LOVED IT!

What a great deal...$69.00....You cannot do anything at the Dells for $69.00!

Will be keeping our fingers crossed for you guys and some warm weather...did you see the Dells Travel Guide for this year? Looks like lots of changes and new things again. I cannot wait!

We are going to the dells for Memorial Day too! We decided to get a budget room this time, for $49. But they sure do have some nice hotels there. We want to save our $$ for our October Disney trip! Plus we got some free attraction tickets, from our local radio station. Have Fun!
