I have 2 sons ::MickeyMo, ::MickeyMo ( ages 12 & 10) and 1 'brat' princess: ( my self-proclaimed princess is 11) going on this cruise with us. What is appropiate for them to wear for formal dinner night? Is it necessary to them wear suits and gown ?

Any suggestions please!?

My kids are almost the same age as yours - my youngest, our princess, turns 10 in three weeks and then they will be 12,11 and 10 for two and a half months. Then we start those wonderful teen years.

My daughter just wore a pretty dress for formal night and the boys wore long sleeve shirts, ties and plain khakki type pants. They would have worn jackets too if I could have found inexpensive ( think hand me downs) in their size. I think semi formal they wore short sleeve button down shirts. They liked getting dressed up. I can't remember if they actually wore real shoes or just their sneakers.

My 12 year old did wear a real suit for formal night. The 8 yo ds just wore a jacket with dress pants and tie. For semi formal, both wore khakis with ties. Daughters are easier! She picked a tea length formal dress for the main event and just wore her fancy Easter dress for semi formal night. I saw one little fella in a tux. Most were blazers and ties for formal, and just button downs for semi formal, I think.
