I ordered MVMCP tickets last week for 12/7. In today's mail I received tickets for 10/8 Halloween Party. I hope I don't have a hard time getting this problem resolved.
Did you order the tickets online? If so, were you sent a confirmation email with the information? I would call Disney tomorrow and tell them what happened. Hopefully it can get resolved for you!

We had to change our December vacation dates after ordering our MVMCP tickets. We had already received our tickets for the party, and I just called WDW ticketing at 1-407-566-4985 and explained the situation. They were very understanding. We mailed our original tickets back and they exchanged them out for the new date. Their hours are M-F 8:30a-4:45p EST and Saturdays 8a-4:15p EST.
