Hello everyone,

Dh and I have had this trip planned for almost a year. We were supposed to take our dd11, dd9, ds7 and ds 3 1/2 months. We are staying 5 nights at POR and 2 nights at the GF:love:

Well in the past 3 months we have had a newborn, relocated to a different area, and dh has gotten a better paying job. Well dh can no longer go on our trip, and i have decided to go alone with 4 kids...this should be a great story when we get back :lmao:

I'm afraid I am going to forget something and since i haven't been able to read the boards regularly in the past few months I'm hoping some of you could post some important last minute tips...i would really appreciate it!:goodvibes I know the obvious, that we should take it slow and we are going to take breaks during the afternoon. DD9 and Ds7 also have adhd and have never been to WDW so it is going to be very very exciting to say the least!
Thanks in advance for any last minute advice!:)

You are a brave brave woman!! Ive taken my 3 by myself to the parks twice and its difficult to say the least but possible.. Although mine are all younger.. ages 4, 2, and 1, and Im pregnant and its hot lol.. Anyways, luckily, a lot of people took pity on me seeing me push a double stroller and have my 4 yr old leashed to me lol (hes pretty good about staying close but I worry in crowds when Im alone with all of them). Have fun!

You are a brave woman! Here are some ideas just off the top of my head:

1. Make sure you know what you can bring on a plane and how you need to bring it on -- like baby's bottles, liquids, meds, etc.

2. Develop a list of expectations w/the kids - like their top 2-3 rides for each park, and the order they will be done, so everyone is on the same page itinerary-wise.

3. Develop a plan for splitting up/meeting, like when eating, going to the bathroom, etc.

4. Go over rules for the pool - the pool areas are large and you want to be able to manage baby and watch the older ones.

5. Have the phone number of the sitter services in case you need a mother's helper, have a medical emergency etc.

6. Pack baby's clothes in ziplock bags and pack a little of everyone's stuff in all suitcases, in case some are misdirected, you still have what you need.

7. You may be able to order baby supplies from an online service (gardengrocer.com or wegoshop.com) instead of packing them so it is one less bag to keep track of .

Have a wonderful trip and please post a trip report if you can -- I would love to hear what worked and what you discovered along the way.

Oh goodness! I have no good tips but wanted to say I admire you and good luck with everything!

I also have to second that request for a trip report... :)

Take lots of breaks:thumbsup2

Don't forget any kind of medicines you think the kids could possibly need while there...put them in ziploc bags.. and read all the airplane carryon guidelines if you are flying:thumbsup2

tylenol, benadryl, cough syrup, etc.......

HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:scared: Wow! And I get worried taking 1 with DH! Have a great trip-I'll watch for you:rotfl2: Can't wait to read that trippie!

Just wanted to thank everyone for the tips and well wishes....we'll see how it goes! Just finishing up the last minute packing....not too long to go now I can't wait!:woohoo:

I'll let you know how it goes when we get back!
