Hi all -- my son is starting his college search (currently a Junior). Does anyone have any thoughts/comments re: the following colleges? I'm looking for ANYTHING - easy classes, campus living sucks/great, food stinks/great, great parties, etc. I didn't grow up here & have no knowledge of any NJ schools - so here goes:

Rowan
William Patterson
Fairleigh Dickinson
Richard Stockton
Rutgers, Newark or New Brunswick campus

He's not sure what his major will be yet - but he is a very talented writer & photographer.

Thanks for any help you can lend. I think I'm stressing more about this than he is - especially the cost:rolleyes1

Thanks peeps:yay:

I'm sorry, I'm not much of a help.

Did you ask the college board? Maybe some of them can help you :goodvibes

The college board would probably have more answers for you..

The only one you listed I researched was Fairleigh Dickinson.. but not far enough to tell you anything really - besides that a lot of my friends liked it as well.

Does your son go on any of the college help websites? collegeboard.com and princetonreview.com are both helpful... and for scholarships fastweb.com is very helpful. (The schools I want to go to next year costs 32-38000 a year.. so I'm applying to any and every scholarship I can get my hands on.)

Best of luck to you and your son!

Thanks you guys - will try over at the college board - that's helpful!!!
