We've never stayed at Bonnet Creek and would love some help with what to request on our room reservation. We will have a 2-bedroom suite. We would like something close to both the kiddie pool (zero entry pool, right?) and the playground. I thought I had read that these are both between towers 1 and 2? We'd also love something with a view of the lake with the FIREWORKS! I've heard these are limited, if you get a fireworks view you mostly get a parking lost view. I'd rather the fireworks view, but of course would love both. I think I read that you need an even numbered room to see fireworks. Do I state this or just write that I want a fireworks view? Also, are buildings 1, 2, 3 much older than 4 and 5? I've heard 4 and 5 are newer, but also a bit farther, which I'd rather not go. I also heard they are new construction, which I'd rather avoid too. Your thoughts would be really appreciated as it is out first stay. We have a 2 year old so would love to enjoy fireworks once she is in bed. Thank you!:)

I think you'd be best served by picking the one or two features that are most important to you, and requesting those. Narrowing the choices down too far might leave the room assigner with no way to make a good choice for you if the few rooms that meet all of your conditions are not available to you.

Brian's right, choose what matters the most to you. It's not possible to get ALL of these in a single room. The buildings encircle a lake.

Puerto de Leon is on the northwest side of the lake, with the lobby and many of the recreation rooms. It has fewer rooms and it's in front of the zero entry pool #1. Rooms have either a northwest parking lot & possibly fireworks view OR a southeast pool/lake view.

Counterclockwise, Torre de la Tierra is southwest of the lake. Rooms either have a parking lot/Caribbean Beach Resort view OR a northeast lake view. It's a short walk to the rec bldg & pool #1 or to the playground in back.

Continuing around the lake counterclockwise, Torre del Viento is south of the lake and it's V-shaped with the V pointing due north toward the lake. Rooms have either a lake/fireworks view to the northwest, a lake/resort view to the northeast OR a parking lot/golf view to the south. It's a short walk to the playground, volleyball or pool #2 with the slide.

Next comes Torre del Mar, southeast of the lake. Rooms have a lake/pool/fireworks view OR a parking lot/landscaping view. Pool #2 is directly in back of this bldg.

Starting over again at the lobby/recreation bldg (Puerto de Leon) and going clockwise, Torre del Cielo is on the north side of the lake and faces it due south. Rooms have either a parking lot/sideways fireworks view OR a lake view. Short walk to pool #1.

Further clockwise is Torre de la Luna, northeast of the lake. It's V-shaped with the V pointing northeast away from the lake. A future lakeside pool area #3 is under construction in the middle of the V but currently, its rooms are the furthest from any pool. Rooms have either a south/southwest lake view OR a parking lot/woods/possibly sideways fireworks view.

Next, the final timeshare building is under construction, Torre del Sol, due east of the lake. It will be next door to the new Wyndham Hotel & Spa, also under construction. Both this timeshare building and the hotel will have additional new lakeside pool areas.

Nothing is too far to walk at this resort, truly!!! Until the final buildings are completed, there's an interruption in the sidewalk that encircles the lake and connects all of the buildings. So it can feel like a long walk from Torre de la Luna, around the lake to pool #2 with the slide. But there are really no "bad" locations. And only the upper floors have an actual fireworks view so if you're on a lower floor or facing the wrong direction, you may still go up the elevators and see fireworks from a corridor window in some buildings.

Since you'll have a toddler and you want the zero entry pool and playground nearby, and the fireworks view matters to you, I'd suggest requesting a "fireworks view near the zero entry pool", and expect a parking lot view in the daytime. That's just me. HTH!

Thank you so much for the replies! I knew I was asking for too much but having never been or seen the resort I just didn't know the best way to write the request. Thanks Lisa for the detailed information on the buildings. There are a lot more than I realized and it helped me understand the layout! Thanks again! Can't wait to enjoy BC!

We are staying in a two bedroom right now. 14th floor with epcot view. Will try and get the name of the building for ya. Will give a room number after we get home on monday. Yes there is a parking lot way down there but sitting on your balcony you would not know it. Your view is of the vista spread out before you and not down. Our view starts with the Swan and Dolphin on the left and pans over Epcot to the Castle at MK in the very far distance, to Down town Disney on our right. The ball at Epcot and the fire works are very visible. We could even see the pyro effects from a show going on at the castle in MK in the afternoon in broad daylight but the were small and distant. I would not trade this view for any other. I think any of the lake views would also be construction views. We see zero construction from our room.

Oh wow! That sounds like the exact view that I want! Yes, please let me know the building and room #. What was the request you made for the room? Pixy dust for me for your room in December...hehehe!

Thanks OP for starting this thread.

Lisa P.--What a great breakdown of the buildings and views :worship:.

We just booked a four night stay for November at BC with Ken Price and are so excited! Between all the great reviews of Bonnet Creek and Ken Price, I am feeling very pleased with our choice.

Enjoy your stay!

Spend a full day at Epcot today, rainy but nice because crowds were not to bad. Returned to Bonnet Creek with about a 15 min. ride back. So far I can't say enough nice things about Bonnet Creek. I got my daughter down in time to sit on the balcony and watch the fire works at epcot as I sipped a cup of tea and relaxed. I tried to view things critically and here is what I came up with. Yes you are aware there is a parking lot below you. How much it affects you is prob. dependant on how picky you are. You will hear noise from below and if you have your slidding window is open you will easily hear conversations from the ground level. That said though most of the time all you will hear is the distant sounds of peepers, and some traffic noise coming from the distance. We asked when booking for an Epoct view on the highest floor possible. I would say to anyone coming that they be prepared for very limited dining options on property and to know your way to the local Wal Mart or puplix. Our first night we ended up paying eight bucks apiece for burgers from the grill here. They were good but not eight dollars a piece good. Good luck.

That sounds a lot like our view from Building 5 when we were there Christmas. We were on the 10th floor and weren't bothered by the parking lot (rather enjoyed the view of the woods). We never heard any construction sounds (and construction was going on right next door on building 6). It took about 2 minutes to walk from building 5 to the main activity building using the lakefront walkway. We ate most of our meals in the 535/536 area but also make some reservations at Boma and Kona (which were great).

We loved it so much that DD is going there next month on her honeymoon!

Prob. butcherd the spelling but you get the point right? Last night was the first time I noticed that we actually were able to watch the Epcot fire works and the Magic kingdom fireworks at the same time. The Epcot ones were much closer and slightly on our left while the Magic Kingdom ones were more center but distant. Either way it was great. It was damp and chilly so my wife actually lay in bed propped on a pillow with our daughter and was able to see both also. There has also been a smaller fire works show around the same time way off on our left but Im not sure where that one is from. Again trying to be picky you will not be able to ignore the parking lot completely but I would say unless your very very picky it will be a non issue. The resort itself is Awsome and I understand that they will be didicating the new pool for this building on thursday. My motherinlaw actually owns the points so she has a special interest in this as an owner and is happy she will be here for that. So to sum things up we asked for a Epcot view as hight up as we could get and were rewarded in spades. I realize this is a busey place and not everyone will get rooms like this but if you are lucky and place your rez. early you have a good chance.
