Hi everyone,
We are Meg (21) and Steve (23). We took our first trip to WDW together in Jan '06, and Meg went in May 1995 for a week, and March 2004 for one day.
We're trying to decide when to make a return trip (ok, Meg is trying to decide and Steve is saying "just tell me when we have to go to the airport"). Here are our criteria:
1) Must be value season. On our budget, money goes a lot farther if we're not paying more than we need to for the resort.
2) Must be low crowds. Steve doesn't deal well with lines at all, and Meg isn't a huge fan, who would be?
3) Would like it to be slightly warmer than January (we barely got to swim, and lived in sweatshirts) but not oppressively hot like July.
Are we being unrealistic? What do you think would work out best for us?

Welcome Meg and Steve! My vote for low rates, low crowds and warm weather is September. It is hurricane season and it can get a bit humid, but in my experience it is usually comfortable weather. Just make sure to pack your ponchos! :sunny: You can usually walk onto most attractions in all parks. The general pace is a lot more leisurely and laid back. Plus Disney usually has promotions going on during the Sept. off-season such as very reduced rates or the now famous free dining.

My vote is for Sept. This will be our 3rd Sept in a row.. love it!!

It is warmer than in Jan., but then I have been there in Jan. 1st week of Feb. and we've been freezing in jeans/sweatshirts for the whole week.

You can always check weather.com go to Orlando, Fl. then go to averages/records.

Sept. the crowds are very minimal, we can walk on a bunch of rides...plus they have free dining if you book by June 4th. Very warm if you want to go to waterparks, etc...

we love  Disney in September

Vote for SEPT after Labor Day weekend! :) GL in planning and if you do it now you can get in for the free dining! :) :thumbsup2

My vote is now. May. After Easter and spring break season, it's not crowded at all. Towards the end of May when the southern schools let out, it starts to fill up. My daughter is there and says that they are hardly using fast passes at all. It's plenty warm now too.
