Hi,
I'm trying to find any information about some artists who were working in Disneyland's Magic Kingdom in 2006. There were 2 or 3 artists set up at a table on the sidewalk somewhere near the Matterhorn and painted Disney-like characters to spell out names like 'Susan' or 'Joe.' They weren't official Disney artists, so they painted fairies, princesses, etc which closely resembled Disney characters using sparkly metallic paints.
I'm going back to Disneyland this summer, and was hoping to still find these artists in the park. Has anyone seen these people in the park recently, or heard of them? I've searched online, but I don't recall the name of them and there is no signature on the art I bought from them back in 2006.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

YES...they are still there.

from my receipt

"Kaman's Art Shoppes Letter Brush Art Order Form"

I posted their site a while back, though, it's mostly for the company that hires artists, I don't believe it shows their "work". The same people do the face painting.

BTW....for those that may want to know, we got my DD name, with only 1 "character" (tink) and the total was 19.40 with tax.

HTH

I just bought one for a friend's birthday. I got her name with Snow white helping to spell out an A. It was 8x8 in a mat and frame for $60.

FYI, there is a cart in downtown disney and it was $25 cheaper!!!

just saw in my dvc memer perks that you get 10% off at the DTD location. Haven't checked to see if they offer AAA or Disney Visa discounts there but they might!
