Was wondering if anyone found a site/place that sells the Disney bracelets and charms like they sell at WDW that you can build yourself. I'm not referring to the Italian charms.
thank you...it's like the charm bracelet listed there...however, the overall cost might be $30+ dollard. The chain was about $7.00 and you then got to pick from over 30+ charms.
they just started getting them in at my disney store..try there....my bracelett is soo full from our two vacations from last year ..its addictive..i cant believe you could stay away!!!!
I saw them at a store in DTD. I can't remember the name of it, but it the huge store with all the rooms. All the way in the back room, where the princess stuff is and the My Little Pony things, (where you fill up a box with all it can hold)
hezreck, the store you are thinking of is World of Disney at Down Town Disney. vjc715, I don't think I've seen the same type of charms outside of disney. Disney Direct and sometimes department stores have the solid gold or silver charms. I think the enamel, colorful ones are exclusive to disney property (as is much of their merchandise) I have 2 suggestions though.. you can try wdw mail order, by calling 407-363-6200 or emailing wdw.mail.order@disneyworld.com They can send you just about any item you've seen in the parks. You will have to be specific though, so be as descriptive as possible. The other option you might want to try the new World of Disney store in NYC, they maybe able to send you stuff, and they are a branch of the World of Disney store @ DTD. However, they may have you call wdw mail order since wdw mail order handles all request for merchandise across property.
I think the bracelet was $5 or $7 and the charms are $4 or $5 each.
I don't know if this helps you too much, but they do sell them at the World of Disney Store in Manhattan. I bought the bracelet for my daughter a couple of months ago when we went into the city, then when we were in Disney World last month she got a whole bunch of charms. It's such a nice reminder of the vacation, and everyone wants to look at all the different charms. You might be able to contact them and maybe they could send it to you?
A couple years ago, I bought my nieces these charm bracelets and a couple charms. The charms fell apart in no time (stones fell out & charms turned color). Hopefully they are making them better.
did you say impulse buying...ha ha ..you should see my bracelett...it is full....i mean full ...i have ..lets see...i have 16 charms from our last two visits..and now i have started my daughter one...oh geesh...
I bought my DD one this last trip....my plan is to get her one charm for every trip we take. She's 14 months now so by the time the thing will fit her well enough to wear it should have quite a few charms on it.

My parents did this for me when I was little. It is a sterling silver bracelet. A jeweler took out a few links of the chain, so I could wear it when I was a kid. We saved the links. I had them added back in when I was an adult. I only have one disney charm on it though...a Tinkerbell. The charms they sell now to build a bracelet are stainless. I have a few of those charms anyway...couldn't resist them they are so cute...haven't decided what I'll do with them....
Thank you!!! Thank you!!! How awesome all of you are for all your help! These are perfect! That is why I love these boards....you put out a problem, and POOF all of you come to the rescue. If now only we all on the DIS boards start world peace!
