My DBro is newly engaged to a slightly Disney-obsessed woman...they don't have a ton of friends, nor do they want a terribly large wedding, so they explained to me that they were considering a destination wedding.
I want to try to convince them to have their wedding at WDW, but I want to present it with the best silver lining....any ideas of what I could tell him/her to "sell" having a WDW wedding? I don't want it to seem contrived; as if I have a personal agenda :rolleyes1 ...I mean...I want them to be happy, but wouldn't it be fun for the whole family ???:yay:
Any ideas would be great! Thanks!

If your brother's future wife is Disney obessed it would not take much more than a little suggestion from you. You can mention that there would be things for everyone to do, no matter what the age level. More so, than other possible destination spots. No one would have to get passports either.
From my understanding Disney weddings are pricy, but I am sure they can be done in moderation too.

I'm sure these experienced couples could give you the ammunition necessary!

Yes, please visit the Weddings section here and try convince him that he has no idea how much that would mean to her!! :) Plus it would be so much fun for everyone going.

You can start with, " You can get married at the Happiest Place On Earth!". My brother got married their two years ago at Sea Breeze Point and he had an intimate wedding, which consisted of some of her family, my Dm, Df, Dh, and myself, then a few friends for a total of 17 people. They did the IW package which cost him $ 3000, that included her flowers, a violenist, the Rev., cake, champaigne, soda, water, and a photographer. But it didnt include the reception, which is good because then they can pick their favorite rest. to have it at. It was very beautiful and simple, with out costing them a huge amount of money. Then they stayed for their honeymoon! My husband and I just got married their this past July, we opted for a custom wedding. We got married at the Wedding Pavilion and had our reception at the GF. It was beautiful. We went all out and had a buffet style dinner, we even rode in Cinderella's Coach, a truely once in a lifetime experience, and then we got a private portrait session at the MK, at 6 am. We were the only people in the park! Our pictures are amazing, we even got some on the balcony of the caslte! All of this was still cheaper than if we planned a wedding at home! Best of luck!

DH and I got married at the Rose Garden Gazebo at the Yacht Club in Sept. 2005. Our dinner reception was at Ariel's and then we had a dessert reception at Epcot during Illuminations. We also didn't want a huge wedding so it worked out perfectly for us to do a custom wedding with about 33 people. It wasn't really that expensive in my opinion for everything we had(less than $15,000). Disney staff all worked to keep us within budget and made sure we had wonderful memories. I was one of the calmest brides ever because I knew Disney wouldn't let me down:love: People who were guests at the wedding still talk about how much they enjoyed themselves! The bride and groom also get a lot of extra "perks" from Disney. We received 2 complimentry annual passes(now I'm hooked on them), a "free" concierge level room at Yacht club on our wedding night since most of our guests stayed on site, flower arrangements sent to our room from Disney florist and so on. It was also great having most of our closest family and friends together for a few days at our favorite place!

Tell him not get married at all! He may not know it but his girlfriend will be transforming into a wife and we all know that no man is fully prepared for that transformation! Lets try to save him before that second transformation into a mommy happens!
