Help sought for klutz

Okay, I got into Magenta room finally and of course it was the "hard" maze with the door matching thing. Yesterday I got into this type of room several times and can never get out of first room. I have tried hitting the matching symbol a couple seconds before, right when i arrive, etc and I always get knocked off the track. when exactly do you have to hit the matching symbol to get through? I will try later today for the "easy" type of room, but I would still like to know the timing, if anyone can explain it. THanks!!

I find it easier to click the right symbol on the door a while before i actually get to the door.. remember, you have 30 seconds to get through the door once it's opened so use that time to your advantage

oh true! I forgot about the 30 seconds - and it doesn't matter if someone is ahead of me, right?

It doesn't matter if someone's ahead of you because if you open your door, the open door only shows up on your screen. You can't open the door for the other people or vice versa. Same with the switch tracks, if you switch, it will only be for your person and not for others, even if they are directly in front of or behind you.

The 30 seconds is VERY helpful, click it as soon as possible. If you get kicked to the beginning of the room, click the door until it opens before you step back on the track to go to it. Also, I click a few times when I see the symbol--there is no consequence for clicking when it does not match, so you might as well just click it a lot when you see the right symbol, for me it has a little time delay and opens right when the symbol changes. I find the second room of the green race is a good place if you want to practice this, except that the default setting for that room is that you just skip the door! But if you do want to practice, when you get into the second room hit the switch to make yourself get onto the track that goes to the door. you have time to practice and if you don't make it and get kicked to the front...this one you can DEFINATELY open the door and then once it is open step on the track to go to the door.

Choose Silver, Gold, Cyan, Black, Green or Orange for no switch doors. Although Red, Yellow and Purple don't have switch doors in the first room if you get knocked off the ride in the second room you will have to go through a swtich door to get back on.
