Help - Shareclub membership card hasn't arrived

I applied for my shareclub membership card 6 weeks ago today - I knew I was cutting it fine but only found out about the benefits from this site. Anyway, we go on Sunday - 3 days time! - and it hasn't arrived yet. I tried emailing the contact details I found on the shareclub website last week when I started to get jittery but I haven't had a reply. I was going to try and phone tomorrow. Does anyone have any advice of who or how to contact? If they find my application, could they fax me proof of membership or something? Of course it may turn up in the post in the next 3 days (here's hoping!) but I'd rather be sure. Any advice gratefully received!

Here are the details of the person who I dealt with at the shareholders club for getting a temporary membership certificate. I am just back from Disney and this certificate worked fine with no problems at all the shops and the restaurants for the discount. Louisa was extremely helpful and great to deal with, she was able to fax my certificate within no time. I have passed her details to another member on this board also and she was able to help them out as well.

I've also not received my card after a long time but I did receive my temporary certificate (which runs out soon) - did you not get that? They should certainly be able to fax you it. Who knows why they take so long?

Given how close it is till you leave I'd suggest phoning rather than email.
As you could loose at least another day before you get a reply.

Many thanks for your help! I emailed Louisa and she replied really promptly and we ended up having our temporary certificate faxed through. I don't know if there's a bit of a hold up or just a language misunderstanding but she seemed to be saying that even the temporary certificate would take another 6 weeks to come through. Oh well, problem resolved for me!

She told me the same so it might just be a standard reply, anyway i am happy you have had good news
BTW i have not got the card yet, but the temporary certificate is valid up to April 30th

The savings I was able to make with the temporary certificate were huge, especially with the restaurants and AP's. My certificate also runs out at the end of April, and I have just booked again for the end of May. I hope my card is through by then or I may need to get another temporary certificate.

I chased my card today and got a reply within 10 minutes (!) from Louisa who said they expected my card would be with me by May 15th. What on earth do they have to do to produce these cards?! It will be about 10 weeks since I was registered as a member, and it's even more than a month from today if they haven't actually done anything about it yet.
She is sending me a new temporary certificate since mine runs out soon - anyone know how you use the temp one in the parks, do you just show the letter?

Yes, we just showed them the fax and it was accepted everywhere.
