HELP! I heard that the parks can close their doors if there is a high attendance. Is this true? Is there any way around it? We are going in July and were planning to do mornings at one park and then relaxing at the hotel and going for evenings to another park. We are staying at POFQ and have Park Hopper. HELP! :scared:

I would be very surprised if this happened in July. It'd have to be over 75,000 people at the Magic Kingdom for it to close so I would relax if I were you. This usually happens only around XMas or New Year's Eve. :)

Don't sweat it. We've park hopped on Christmas Day and we had no problem at all. We did EPCOT and then Magic Kingdom.

The only day in July you would need to worry about is the 4th of July. You should be fine. You are also guarunteed admission to at least one park if you are staying on property.

I am sure most of July will be crowded but no enough to close the park (except July 4th weekend). I know Christmas and New Years Eve the parks have closed - we have been there New Years Eve. They usually close in the morning and then might reopen later in the day if some of the crowds leave. It also depends where you are staying. They close the parks in stages, the first stage I believe is the park is closed to people not staying at WDW - if you are staying at WDW I belive you are guaranteed entrance to a park - not necessarlly the park you might want to go to.

This often happens on holidays. I have seen it happen on Christmas and July 4th several times. You shouldn't have to worry about this happening in July except the day of July 4th. Don't be fooled though! July has one of the highest attendance rates out of the whole year. Christmas has the highest attendence rate, but I believe the month of July is second after December. None of the parks should close due to capacity in July except July 4th, and I wouldn't recomend going to MK on the 4th. It is the most crowded park. :crowded:

We are planning on going to Epcot on the 4th - that is our first day there. Should that be OK?

Of all the parks, Epcot can handle the most people, especially once World Showcase opens 2 hours after Future World, so you should be fine.
