Help needed for a possible last minute trip! My son and one of my daughters both play Pop Warner football. They are doing awesome this year and have 2 games left before to win before they get invited to play at WDW! Suddenly, we are looking at possibly needing to bring our family of 6 down. I don't even know where to start. I do know they offer packages for the kids, its like $375 pp for 2 nights at PW and 3 day Park Hopper pass. Just overwhelmed! Any advice? At least Christmas shopping would be easy. Lol TIA!

Well I think you will find lots of advice on this board!! How much notice will you get to know if you are going down? Are you planning on staying longer than the 2 nights? I don't have any experience with the Pop Warner portion of it really, but would be more than happy to answer any other specific questions you have.

Well, the first place to start is: Can you afford it? 3 days hoppers for the rest of the family, hotel room for a family of 6 ( you won't all be allowed to stay in one of the cheapie rooms), food for the duration of the trip (rough $60PP/day), and of course transportation to and from orlando from wherever you live. What kind of budget do you have available?

Only deals for kids are for those under the age of 3. I know room rates most of Dec are running 30% off for AP members. I have had even better luck booking my rooms on Orbitz using whatever the current 15% off rate.

Purchase park tickets from Undercover Tourist. They have get ticket prices.

For a family of 6 if you are renting a vehicle you will need a van so plan on the cost being a couple hundred dollars.

Staying onsite for a family of 6 will run $350 - $500 a night because you will need to stay at a Deluxe resort because I just looked and all the value and moderate resorts are sold out for Dec 5-12.

If your kids are staying at POP for their game stuff then you should be able to book another room at pop for the rest of your family.... 2 rooms at a value resort is the cheapest option for 6 people onsite-(or one of the allstars value resorts)if 2 of the kids are staying at Pop in a discount room, then that leaves only 4 people who still need a room, right? you'll likely want to match the park passes for the rest of you so undercover tourist is best for that- are you driving?

if fling check all the major airline sites right now to get an idea of pricing....
