We have stayed at the Poly before about 5 years ago in the Tahiti Longhouse. We are visiting this Thanksgiving and staying in the deluxe villa studio. There are 5 of us. I can't seem to find any information about these rooms.

Here are my questions:

1. Where can I find pictures? Does anyone have actual pictures of the rooms? Not just the Disney published photos.
2. How comfortable is the pull out sofa?
3. Is the room crowded with the sofa pulled out?
4. Same for the pull down twin bed?
5. How does the space in this room compare to a Poly standard room?
6. Does the shower have a regular shower head or a shower wand? I saw one picture and the shower looks huge! Is it separate from the tub?
7. Anything else for or against the studio rooms?

Here's a tour

2. Can't help you.
3. Yes.
4. Yes-ish. The tour helps visualize.
5. Less I believe because of the bathrooms.
6. There's two showers with two types of heads. The tour shows them.
7. The two bathrooms is super helpful. Not much storage overall.

1. Plenty online if you look.

2. It's okay. It's a sofa bed, so don't expect pillow-topped comfort and bliss.

3. Yes.

4. Yes.

5. Different layout, especially because you have an extra shower and a kitchenette.

6. There is a shower, and a tub with a shower.

7. Storage is limited.

I'm confused? Are there DVC studios and regular studios? Where are the DVC rooms?
There are only DVC studios in the 3 Longhouses that were converted from hotel rooms to DVC studios. In the hotel section there are some suites, but no studios.

The pull down murphy bed is smaller than a twin bed. Shorter in length and not as wide. Considered to be bunk size. About 33" by 72".

If you stayed in Tahiti a few years ago, you will notice that the room is smaller than it was. The bathroom space in the old hotel room was much smaller. Now the bathroom space appears to be more than double pf what it was (and adding the kitchenette as well). So there isn't as much room to move around like there was in the hotel room. They didn't change the walls of the rooms, just the layout of the room. We stayed in this same building before they changed it to Tahiti (it was Moorea back in 1997). I know we had two queen beds and a real twin-sized day bed back in 1997 (I slept on the day bed) many nights. Plus a round table and chairs and we still had plenty of room for the five of us back then.

Oh, and the reason they renovated these three buildings was because the rooms were larger than the others at the Polynesian.

Here are my questions:

1. Where can I find pictures? Does anyone have actual pictures of the rooms? Not just the Disney published photos.- Touring plans has tons, Tiki Man has even more!
2. How comfortable is the pull out sofa?-Not sure what age you are looking for on this, but my almost15 years girl loved it, her toddler brother didn't complain either ;)
3. Is the room crowded with the sofa pulled out?- we had 5, including a toddler and felt the room to be fantastic
4. Same for the pull down twin bed?my almost 10 year old loved it
5. How does the space in this room compare to a Poly standard room?MUCH more space in our opinion and the 2nd bathroom was an amazing help!
6. Does the shower have a regular shower head or a shower wand? I saw one picture and the shower looks huge! Is it separate from the tub? both
7. Anything else for or against the studio rooms? They were further from GCH, I prefer being right next to main pool and GCH but coukdnt beat the size of the room and partial view of MK. Nothing felt too far away and they are closer to TTC and beautiful new quiet pool :)
