I think what the original poster means is how people make themselves look like a talking whatever...like there was a talking leota room where the persons title was actually leota he hid behind some boxes and all you could see was the crystal ball and it looked like it was talking.
There is no way to do this but make the character with that name and go into your room.

As for talking out of trade (it has nothing to do with scamming) you make yourself get a typing time out(Typing too fast) BEFORE you accept the trade
once in the trade windo you can type in the trade windo and also in the room.

thats what i want to know. you used to be able to do it but now i think you need to use vmk pal to do it
