help please

i've tried and tried but can't get my countdown going
i get as far as clicking on re/generating and thats it no windows pop up no nothing
please anyone can you hep

I followed the advice...and I think I got the counter to work..ya'll are so nice and friendly here....just how Walt woulda wanted it

I had lots of problems getting my countdown to work. I am not the most computer literate person. The problem I ran into was not copying the information in the script section. After you click on Re/generate the script section will have lots of computer lingo written highlighted in blue. Go to your Edit menu and press Copy, and then go to User Cp, update your profile and "copy" it in your signture line and then submit your changes. Once someone pointed these steps out to me, I was able to do it.

Hope this helps. Also, try posting a help question in the Technical board and see if they can help. (Although I had to place it in 3 different places on the Technical board before someone came to my rescue.)

I kept trying it and trying it. Just wouldn't work! I was getting very frustrated. But after I did it, it was easy. I kept forgetting to paste it to my signature. That's the place that you put all your info. in where you originally signed up. So you follow the directions, copy and paste to your signature.

I am not computer literate, but hope this helps. It took me a while to get it right, also. Do you have a pop-up blocker? Turn that off for a while when you are trying to get this to work. Also, print out the directions, rather than trying to remember (you probably already did this if you are smarter than me).
