Help Please

Hi,

I'm pricing up a trip for 5 adults, from 14th - 18th December, to stay at Davy Crockett Ranch. We want to take advantage of the 2 extra days and nights free offer.

We are looking at getting annual passes. So I was wondering about booking for 1 adult, and adding people when we checked in, and just paying the taxes.

I read the great thread on here about it, and thought I knew what to do.

I rang the Disneyland Paris reservation line to ask for a quote, and how much the local taxes would cost. I was told that as I would have booked a special offer, I couldn't do that, and I would have to pay the full price for everyone, including tickets, at check in!

Is the reservation agent correct? Or can I do what I was planning?

No, she's not. You can always add AP holders to a room, just have to make sure there are enough beds for everyone. They don't advertise this though which is probably why the reservations agent told you it wasn't possible.

Thank you so much SleepingX3Beauty. I told her I didn't think that was correct, but she kept saying she was following the rules, and others were wrong!

the booking agents rarely give the correct information about adding guests at check-in, this forum is the right place to come for that .

We've been going to DLP for almost 17 years now, but this will be the first time we've added guests at check in.

The Christmas offer at the DCR is great value isn't it, and 4 nights is perfect!
We've been booking one adult and 5 guests into the DCR for years, so you shouldn't have a problem (although occasionally you can get someone on reception who looks a little confused and has to get advice from a colleague).

We did this at DCR last February with no problem whatsoever. I did email them before arrival to let them know we would be doing this, just to make sure there would be enough towels etc. We ended up with a lovely cabin very close to the centre.

Could anyone tell me what the taxes are per night please? Do they need to be paid for in cash?

The taxes were about 2 euro per adult per night. We weren't charged for our 2 under 18's (16 & 17). We paid cash, but am sure they would accept a card payment.
