Hi all...as you can see by my name I am a Disney freak but I am traveling to Orlando in September for a wedding. I am traveling with my 25 year old daughter and her friends. They are all busy with bachelorette party, rehearsal stuff etc while I am happy to be a guest for the wedding on Saturday. We are heading down Thursday to Sunday 9/6 to 9/9.
I am thinking of heading to Universal on Friday while they are recovering from the previous evening and picking up significant others from the airport. I am an energetic 60 year old who loves rides and everything that goes with them.

The question: Should I do two parks one day or just focus on one park. I have been to Islands of Adventure pre-Harry Potter and and Universal Studios once before. I love Minions. 3-d and roller coaster..thus the problem. Is there enough time in one day to rdo both without wiping your self out? Thanks for the help.:wave2:

Because of the shorter park hours for that time of year, you might want to consider only one park so you aren't wiped out. It's still very hot and humid in early September so the weather can be ugly. Plus...Rock The Universe is at the Studios that weekend and even though the park closes at 7pm that night, event goers are admitted starting at 4pm so the park will get very crowded after 4pm.

However...if you went to the Studios in the morning and then headed over to IOA in the afternoon, you'd have until 7pm to finish up. That's a lot to do in a single day and not feel the affects the next day but you'll have to make that decision.
