Okay so I figured this would be the best category for your guys' help!
So please do!:worship: haha

Last winter, I had talked it out with my parents to try and go to WDW for the very first time in July '07, my dad decided not to go because he's a workaholic but my mom said yes and I asked to bring my BFF and my mom/BFF agreed. Well, all-in-all, we booked EVERYTHING, the hotel, the tickets, the airfare, made ADR's and I planned as much as one possibly could, me being a planner and all. ;)

Well, of course, the plans got ruined with a month of going, my BFF backed down saying that her parents couldn't afford it, which made me upset since they first said that she could and ugh. Well, we got traveler's insurance and everything and canceled EVERYTHING except the airfare tickets which were non-refundable so we got screwed for that. I got the need for Disney again(seems to happen at this time every year! But it doesn't matter 'cause I love it and it makes me read all your guys' P-TRs and TRs :goodvibes) so I need to convince my mom that it's not going to be like that again and I said that it should just be us two going. But she said that she doesn't know and I'm not sure as to how I could convince her as to why she should go.
(She hasn't ever been to WDW but DL in '02 and '67-ish)
Any tips please?? I'll love you guys forever!

Hate to hear about your trip getting cancelled. I would tell your mom that it would be a good girls vacation. You and your mom could spend some quality time together is one thing you could use. Also, you would not have to worry about a third person cancelling and making it unaffordable for you two to go.

There is a lot more to do in WDW than DL is another reason. Your mom and you could book something at the Spa at SSR which is a good girl thing to do together. I know that my wife wanted to do that. That is a few thing I can think of being a guy. Hope things work out. I know you and your mom would have a great time at WDW together.

Thanks for the tips Michael! :)
A spa would sound very fun and we've been meaning to do that one day or another!
I hope more people could keep them coming though.
I'm only starting to make a dent in this. :/

You and your Mom should go and have a special Mom and Daughter trip. My daughter and I did this when she was 19 and it has been one of our most memorable trips :thumbsup2

Disney is something her and I both enjoy and it is special to the two of us.

Talk to your Mom maybe she will reconsider.
