help please with park layouts

so never been before -
I am looking at the maps online for the parks - 2 different maps....
you can cross from one park into another without leaving and reentering right?
where exactly do they touch...like which land of DL do I exit from to get to DCA ???

and where is the Grand Californian in relation to everything???
is there a map that shows it all?

They are across from each other, they don't really touch, there is a plaza inbetween the parks. You will have to exit and enter each park but not have go through security again. The Grand Californiaian is on the side of DCA, there is an entrance into that park only. It is also on the side of the DD area.

They are two separate parks separated by a plaza. You'll need a "park hopper" ticket to visit both parks on the same day.

There is so much good info on this forum. I think you would really benefit from starting with this thread (from my favorite DISer ):

It should get you oriented properly geographically and (even more important) philosophically to DLR. It will answer questions you did not know yet that you should ask. After that you will be in a better frame of mind to take in all the good info on this forum and ask even better questions.

you need REAL park maps. you can contact me by pm and i will be happy to send you a set or if you want just one map, i only got 4 dlr maps!

I hope you are more patient when it comes to planning. We leave in October and I am use to having my plans well established five months in advance. This waiting for the park hours to come out is driving me batty. The only thing on my spreadsheet is the Halloween party so far.

Nope, DL still uses the hand stamps.
