HELP!!! PLEASE!!!! Rapunzel Women's Costume

Hi gals (and guys! )
I noticed that there are several sewing extraordinaires on the boards!

My family and I are going to Mickey's Halloween Party in October, and I am looking into getting a Rapunzel costume. I tried looking on the internet for some costumes, but none of the ones that I found are what I am looking for. So, I would love to have one made!


I have a couple of questions for you all.

1. Would it be easy to make the dress myself, or would it be better to have someone else do it?
2. What kind of fabric would I use?
3. Any good tutorials out there?

If any of you have any ideas or helpful suggestions, I would sooooooooooooooooo appreciate it!

Have you looked on etsy? I was originally going to buy my costume there but ended up finding the perfect red with whit polka dot dress for me to go as Minnie Mouse!

I know for sure on etsy there is a seller that makes costume aprons and I have seen rapunzel. Worth checking out!
