Anyone know what I am doing wrong. I have a pic on my puter, size is 2272 x1790, 2.78MB, I uploaded to walmart for print, pic came out cut off so I looked at the pic I uploaded in the walmart album and it is 480 x 378, 71142 bytes. :confused3

What am I doing wrong. I want to print with the biggest file for the best print.

TIA

I don't know about the size issue, but the reason it was cutoff is b/c the aspect ratio of your image is not the same as a 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, etc. They can only a few things to make it work. They can cut part off, fit it and leave part of the print blank, or stretch/compress it to fit. You obviously do not want option three, so you pretty much have two options. Only you can decide how you want it.

But how is it uploading so small? Kodak keeps the file size when I upload to them. And How can I get it to a 4x6 ratio? I did crop it in photoshop... is that what happened? How do I fix and prevent it?

Thanks!

I've never uploaded to walmart before, but is it possible that you are trying to upload/use/print a portrait mode photograph (up and down) in a landscape mode type (left and right) frame/etc??

I do this when I print in Photoshop all the time.

I have no idea why it is changing the size. I always walk mine into Walmart on a cd. There might be different uploading options based on how you want to use it. As for how to keep it from auto cropping, you will have to check their options. It would likely be at the point where you are selecting the images to print. It might not be possible online. If you bring them in, you can tell the person how to handle them.

I am uploading to walmart for someone else. I use Kodak myself and they do have an option to view what will be printed. Hmmm
