Lynn -- I'm sorry you are stressed, sweetie, but I am so glad this is worked out, at least. From what I've seen of the GF Cafe, with the full menu available, I am sure your luncheon will be perfect.

Well Linda had emailed me back and said that we could use the regular lunch menu Thank God. I just wanted to add have the steak,pork loin and crab cakes at least in the menu so people could have something rather than a sandwich.

Now I wish I would have looked into portebello,the menu sounds good...but I'm going to stick with GFC,as it was our first choice.

I feel so bad,I kind of freaked on Linda..I apologized to her. It was just that today Tim's mom was driving us nuts about the wedding and then this just added on the top of it!!!

Sorry for my rant and thank you all for the help...I think I am going to have to add to the planning journal about what else happened today,UGH!!!

Hiya hun, good news on the menu. Phew!!

Do you mind if I ask you a couple of questions? We are hoping to do the same as you and have lunch at the GF Cafe. How did the wedding planner get involved in it - don't you just book it through WDW-DINE or the group booking number? Why did they initially say it was a fixed menu - was that because it was a wedding party? I thought we would need to book our meal with the main dining number as it was an Escape wedding.

I wouldn't worry about freaking with Linda. I'm sure they get used to it and with it being so close to your date it is completely understandable.

My planner sent me an email asking me if I was thinking of doing a luncheon and if I needed any help.I took her up on the offer and she booked it for us.

I recommend you book it yourself and let your planner know after you do only because my luncheon was booked on the 9th instead of the 7th.I know that my panner booked it on the 7th because she sent me a confirmation so I know it wasn't her fault,and it was in my BEO.Last week I was on the phone with disney dining going over my ADRS and it just so happened that my luncheon was on the 9th!!!! Thank God I asked disney dining to go over the ADRS.

I have no idea why she sent me the fixed menu,I guess that is how they handle groups which is fine but I had a problem because I didn't know that because nobody ever told me that.

The only reason why they emailed me the menu was because I asked my planner if I was able to do a customized menu (they put your name on the menu)because I have seen people on here who have done it. So if i never asked about this iwould have never had the info and the fixed menu brought to my attention because we booked this like 4 months ago and they never sent me anything.

I just feel bad now for freaking on her but I guess sometimes you can't always be a afraid to get what you want.If I would have never said anything then we woldn't and I'm sorry but it's our one day and I would like it to be the way that we want it. I guess I'm officially a Bridezilla
