HELP!! Please! HH Resv.?

My wife and I want to add on at HH, but we have some concerns.
We would use HH in June, and in Sept.
We would only be getting a studio on points.
My concern is how hard is it to book HH in June as a member?
I heard rumor that it hard to book in June unless you call day to day at the 11 month window?
Is that true???

June is a hard month to book passed the 11 month window. Give it a try. Go on the waitlist. I know there is availability for September, I booked a studio this morning. Good luck!

HH is a small resort. It is comprised primarily of 2 bedrooms. Therefore, for those seeking smaller accommodations, the 11 month window becomes a very valuable right for owners there. This is especially so in the summer, as that is "prime time" for HH. The experience of most people on the boards thus far has been that it is not difficult to get what you want, if you are at the 11 month window. Daily calling also will help to assure your reservation.

HH is a wonderful resort. I am sure you will not be disappointed if you add on there!

I booked a 1BR at the 7month window for the last week of May which is also Memorial Day week. I got right in. I know it's not June and a couple of weeks probably does make a huge difference at this resort, but I just wanted to tell you about our experience. This will be our first trip to HH. I can't wait.

The biggest problem getting into HH and wanting a studio or 1bdrm is that there are so few of them! DH and I had no problem booking a studio in '00 at 4 mo. out for the end of June. If you have to have a studio or 1brm during the summer, I would call day by day. June is probably so popular because it is definately more comfortable than July and August. We were there at the beginning of August last year and while the temp wasn't too bad (low 90's), it was extremely humid. Several of the activities we booked for the kids were cancelled because of it.
