Ok, so my mom and I just got back from Disney and unfortunately it was probably the worst time we have ever had there. When we arrived they didn't have our reservation correct, I got VERY sick
the last 2 days we were there (threw up in the middle of Ohana-so embarrassing
), and on our final day there they lost our bag with ALL of our souvenirs in it
. This is where I need some help:
We checked out of our room around 10:30am but still had time to go back to the park (I was feeling kind of ok at this point-ended up puking off the side of the Liberty Belle
) since our plane didn't leave until 7:45 in the evening. So, we left our bags with luggage services-5 bags total-one of them being a mickey tote filled with everything we had bought during the week-we had planned on taking it on the plane with us as a carry-on since there was a lot of fragile ornaments and ceramic stuff we had got at the Christmas store in DTD. ALL of our bags were tagged with luggage tags except this one as we had just bought it-I even pointed this out to the guy who checked our bags into the luggage room and he said that it was fine since it would be with all of our other marked bags. So, we come back to the hotel around 4:00 since ME was picking us up at 4:45 and we went to pick up our bags and the tote was NO WHERE to be found.
My mom and I are heartbroken...we had gotten ornaments personalized for ourselves, and a friend of ours gave us her daughters Minnie ears hat to be personalized (which we did) and it was in the bag too. The manager at the resort made a copy of our credit card statement (thank goodness we charged everything to the room so we had a record of what we spent) and promised to reimburse us for everything, but it still sucks that we don't get to have our stuff-especially the personalized items.
So, if you live in NE Ohio and are going to be going to Disney soon I would absolutely be forever grateful if you could help us replace some of the items we had (esp the ornaments)-I would pay you for them of course and pick them up wherever is most convenient for you. If you're willing to help please let me know. Thanks so much.
