Help planning a tour of the hotels, please!

We'd like to visit all three hotels while at Universal, just to look around, maybe have a drink...I've read other threads that say they're not as far apart as they seem on the maps, so can it be comfortably done in one evening?

I think you could easily walk to all three in an evening but this is what I would do:

Since they don't check for a hotel key when you board the boats:

Take the boat to PBR first...look around and do whatever, then walk (its a beautiful path to) HRH and have a drink by the pool - the pool bar there is very nice. Then stroll to City Walk (or take the boat back to CW) and walk or boat to RPR for your dinner ressie. It is very possible to do that depending on when you leave the parks and when your dinner time is.

Yeah,

PBR is the furthest (sp?) from the parks by path...and probably by boat. If you go to PBR first (recommend taking the boat from CW,) then HRH, you will be coming back towards CW and its an easy stroll (from HRH) to the boats or the path at CW to RPR.

Remember, you can take the boats to and from any hotel to CW but the boats don't run between the hotels.

If I was going to tour the hotels in an evening, I would first find out at what time Musica della Notte is scheduled at PBH (sorry guys it's an H not an R) and time my visit to PBH accordingly. It really is a great way to share a cocktail or glass of wine, on the piazza listening to the singers.
