Help on part of our vacation...St. Pete Beach???

Hi there,

We are going to St.Pete Beach (5 days) before we head to WDW and want to know if there are any outlet malls near there? Is there a Disney Outlet? What about Flea Markets?

I want to Visit John's Pass because I've been before but are there other places to visit that I have not thought of???

We are plannig a car trip on one of our days of up to one hour's drive but don't know where to go...Any suggestions???

Theres a good outlet mall across the Sunshine Skyway Bridge towards Bradenton.What about The Florida Aquarium?its excellent.Tampa Bay Lightening NHL team.Tampa Bay Bucs.Ybor City is great fun.

The outlet mall is in Ellenton off of I-75 just across the Sunshine Skyway Bridge heading south. It is a beautiful drive across an amazing bridge. Toll for the bridge is $1.00.

IrishMickey is right- the aquarium is great. It is in Tampa next to the cruise port. It is fun to see the ships. Busch Gardens is also in Tampa.

In St Petersburg, check out the downtown area. It is very nice with a huge pier and Baywalk Shopping Area.

There are many great parks including Fort DeSoto which is a beach area with an old fort you can explore.

We live here and we just love hanging out at the beach. Do not miss the sunsets-they are breathtaking!!!

Here's a great link for Restaurants in the area. There is a huge Flea market east of area about 2-5 miles inland. You can pick up all kinds of information books and coupons on just about every corner. We tried the St. Petersburg Pier area and had fun.

Also you might want to see the Clearwater Aquarium, they have a few displays for the kids, you can actully pet stingrays in the water. If you do this make sure you use the 1/2 off coupons in one the books.
