We are thinking of sailing on a 7 night western cruise in 2010.

we were thinking of possibly using points and cash for this if we can.

can anyone explain how this would work?

On the cash part, is there a way to figure out how much it is, or do i have to call dvc? do you make a partial payment on it, and pay on it when you want as long as paid within 45 days of sailing like on the disney cruise website, or do i have to pay it all up front?

what discounts are offered if i book after sailing? we are sailing on a 4 night cruise 3 weeks from today.

do you get any room credits like you do when you rebook onboard?

any other info would be great!!

The cash price when booking through Member Services on points, is a prearranged price contracted upon with DCL and DVC. This will vary, and you do need to call MS to obtain cash pricing for the cruise(s) you are interested in.

All cash amounts, including the $95 booking fee, are due at time of booking. There are no other discounts offered when booking on points or points/cash. If you book while onboard you will realize a small discount in points. The cash price, however, remains the same. I believe you have up to 3 days after disembarkation to book.

MS does not offer shipboard credits. Hope this helps!
