HELP.
I am going to WDW for Nov 6 to the 12th. My sister's birthday is NOv 6th and I was planning to have a suprise party and dinner for 25 people at Contemporary.
I played telephone tag with the manager for 2 weeks and finally spoke to her the other day. She said she can book us for a group at 5 but they don't do large groups at 7. We need 7 so people who live 1 hour away can get there after work. They can seat us at 4 tables of 6 but we won't be together, might be at other sides of the restaraunt.
Can someone suggest another place quickly?
Cape May said they can accomodate us but there a quite a few people who don't like seafood. Do they have enough other types of meat and potatoes food for the pickey ones?
I was also thinking about going to Angels off property, the all you can eat lobster place but do they have enough meat for the pickey?
Can someone suggest somethng to me fast.
Now, I will be bringing my pins, and tradeing so it is pin related...... Peggie

Peggie,

We ate at Cape May during the August pin event. The dinner buffet is four sides:
1. Salads
2. Seafood, potatoes, etc.
3. Desserts
4. Meats, pasta, etc.

We don't eat meat or seafood and we left stuffed. Also, the desserts were excellent -- a little upscale from Chef Mickey's or Hollywood & Vine. We had excellent service in a very relaxing atmosphere.

And "HB" to your sister! :D

We went to Chef Mickey's with 28 people some time ago. We did have PS at 5:30 and they were able to put us all together. Actually we had 2 long tables beside each other.....but I have to tell you the place was packed. It's always packed.

In addition to seafood Cape May usually has a chicken dish and a beef dish or pork. One time we went they didn't have anything beef but had a sausage dish. They have an big salad bar too and lots of desserts. 2-3 different kinds of vegtables and usually 2 kinds of potatoes or rice. One member of my family is a very fussy eater and she always finds something to eat here. If you have little ones they have a children's area with chicken nuggets, fried shrimp and hot dogs

You won't find them carving any roast beef here. So if that's what you're looking for ......I wouldn't suggest Cape May.
I've never been to the other place that you mentioned. Hope it works out for you.

You might want to go over to the Restaurant Board and post the question there. You might get more information.
